Alright, I warn you of ranting-madness.

I mean, serious ranting.

Those of you who know me rather well--~th351, ~Az-The-Dragon, ~Chaos-Flower, and footloads of other people who talk to me on a regular basis--know that I have an undying, unlimited, unimaginable hatred for the show Sonic X which appears on 4Kids Saturday mornings.

And this is not an elitist Sonic-fan hatred, where they've never watched the show. I have watched the show, I forced myself to watched every. Single. Episode. And I still never really found any love for it. I will always adore the Sonic cast themselves, even Amy, who all my friends also remember I have a distinct...fear...of her. But Sonic X is something I simply cannot bring myself to enjoy.

Why?

Personally, I can find absolute zero love for Chris, most of all. And when season two first aired--season three in Japan, and several other countries I believe--introducing Cosmo, I found myself feeling the same abhoration for the little plant girl, all the way up to her death. Though not for the same reason.

I felt she had great potential as a character. She has an entirely unknown society behind her, one I've taken as somewhat matriarchal, but they don't give her much personality that I can really tap into. I like personality. Once I get a taste of it, I go absolutely bonkers.

So I pieced together my own version of her. And here she is. A dreamy child who only wanted to be left alone to imagine and play, until she loses everyone dear to her. A young girl in a strange world, frightened and lost. Not the composed little flower we see in Sonic X but an actual child, which is what she's supposed to be. To even be considered a potential love interest for Tails, she'd have to be aged between six and eleven or so, meaning she needs to think and act like a child. So my version does.

This image was inspired by the song Gomenasai by the Russian pop duo t.A.T.u. because it reminded me of how I believe Cosmo should be. Uncertain, afraid, apologetic, and forever insecure in a very lonely world. I'm certain my entire family is grateful I've finally finished the picture, since I played the song a grand total of four hundred and fifteen times while working on it.

So I'm done babbling.

Full view is a nice thing to do for me, yes.
